guys before i do antyhing i am not a writer what so ever! but for english i have to write a poem so I decided I would share mine with u

GLOW STICK
Have you ever wondered why life is so unfair
Just asked a simple
Why
Why does this have to be me
What have i done to deserve this
Have i not been loyal
Have i not been trustworthy
But it turns out
Life isn’t that simple, you see
We need to be broken
To learn how to love
To move forward
To grow
We must be broken
How do we expect to know joy if we haven’t shed tears
How do we know peace if we haven’t held fears
We need to know rock bottom
Before we can soar
We cannot take a glow stick and expect it to glow
It needs to be broken
It needs to realize it has more in store for it than it knows
That one day it will glow
But it can’t until it is broken
Until it’s at its rock bottom
Then, and only then, can it glow
When did the world get so dark
When did the glow from a simple glowstick go out
When did we forget we need to be broken to shine
When did we lose our glow?
