I’m prepping items for a local fall fair coming up in September, one category includes preemie hats & booties, which will then be donated to the NICU in a local city.
While searching for a pattern that wouldn’t require adjustments to use baby yarn (weight #3) , and wasn’t super chunky for a tiny baby. I decided I needed to make a simple ribbed/cuffed preemie hat, made with soft baby yarn for their sensitive skin.
So , keep your eye out for a tester call in the near future! Just a thing to keep in mind while waiting is you will be required to use baby yarn or soft weight #3 yarn, and a 3mm hook!
