Okay done am making this preppy sweater vest from ribbon and the colors are showing through and it just isn’t looking too hot any tips or help because I don’t want to keep working on it if it’s going to look bad.

The only thing I can think of is to crochet tighter…
or when your crocheting over the other color pull that color tight maybe I don’t know.

When working colorwork, basically it’s all personal preferences, some people don’t mind it when a bit of the color shows between the stitches, and some don’t like it. What we can suggest, is instead of carrying over both colors, you can pre-cut bunches of yarn for each diamond and change color without carrying both of them. Does that make sense?
