I donāt know if thatās an option, but maybe you could ask her to prepay the materials, give her a price range and then have her pay for labour afterwards, so she knows what to expect and you can price yourself properly.

Iād sell for 40-60 depending on quality of yarn.
Maybe you could charge for the yarn at the start and then at the end charge for the hourly wage?

Bc itās hard to make and uses a lot of yarn
For big stuff like that, like hoods or some of my huge hats and cowls i charge around 50-80 (but i price a lot based on my time soā¦
