How much should I price these star keychains?
I’m also planning on making blue and pink stars.
$12. A good way to gauge price is to look up what a key ring is at a grocery store. So? Let’s say, a basic genetic key ring is $10. So sell your key ring above that,
Really ._. I was thinking 10 bucks but I thought that maybe that was a teensy weensy bit over. Not that I would have brought down the price or anything ;-;
I’ve honestly never done a market in the US before but I’m planning on doing one since I might travel there over the summer. I know the prices vary in different, er, continents, but I didn’t expect the difference to be this much ._. even when I use other prices as references, I’m still unsure of their effectiveness.
In my area of the US, you can barely sell a keychain for $6![]()
O_o
Here, selling a keychain for the equivalent of about $8 is “overpriced”.
Dude I have to sell mine for $3 otherwise they don’t sell ![]()
$3??? Dude I wouldn’t make keychains at that point ![]()

i sell lily of the valley car hangers for about $10, and they sell pretty well. (i know that’s not a keychain but it’s about the same size) they can also technically be keychains though.
that’s insane
do you get any profit?!?

Most people who buy hand crafts don’t craft themselves and have no clue how much work and time goes into making items. So they won’t be willing to pay anything close to what the item is actually worth. Plus everyone wants everything for free or very cheap.
Look at all the requests for “free patterns only” here on Ribblr. I know some can’t pay for patterns because their parents won’t let them, etc. But that’s one reason I don’t design, I know I couldn’t do it and make a living at it.
I sell mine for $5, I don’t really have any items over $10
Looking at it, I think anywhere from $8-$12 would be ok. If you take the cost of how much yarn you used, time and the keychains, that’ll tell you your price
I mean I’m visiting Ohio idk if anyone has experience there. I tried searching Abt it and it seems like $10 is… Acceptable. I think .-.
