Hey @Ribblr and all of you other people!
I have a suggestion for when I am following patterns online.
Maybe there should be a print button so that we don’t have to follow the pattern online? It would make it so much easier since many of us have limited time on a screen and for on the go pattern-following. Thanks!
you cant print it because of the eco friendly tthing
ribblr doesnt want to make it able to download the patterns
Here’s a screenshot from the help center
Seriously?
What if there are people who have poor eyesight and can’t see computer screens too well, or people who don’t have internet access. We should be able to decide whether or not we print it. And you can ask for people to recycle the paper, I know I will.
I would just screenshot the pattern and print it if you need to print it. I also think its frustrating without a print button…
Some people have already mentioned wanting an off-line version of patterns! But you can always toggle your zoom preferences on your computer if there are issues seeing the print. But at least for now, I don’t think there is harm in asking the designers if they have a PDF version for you!
I think it’s beyond ridiculous to not allow us to print if we want to. That being said, I screen shot mine and print them, I’m eco friendly in maaaaaaany other ways but my eyeballs need to be able to print.
Yessssss! Thank you! The only problem is that when I screen shot it the background is black and then I am wasting ink. Is this just me or is everyone’s like that? Is there a way to change it?
I think it’s because you are on dark mode! You can change it in your app settings under your profile:)
Okay. I’ll give it a try. Are the pattern white for you?
I think theyre should also be a print button. I like to be able to interpret my patterns with my own pencol amd paper.
Yes. That is also helpful.
The point of Ribblr is how it’s online and easy to use, with interactive patterns. There are other sites that allow you to print patterns.
Thanks for sharing!
We developed Ribblr ePattern to provide the best crafting experience, allowing you to mark your progress, take your library on the go, translate patterns to your language, view your size only, watch video tutorials and so much more that traditional patterns don’t offer.
With that in mind, it’s up to the designer to choose whether they also want to add a printable PDF pattern within their pattern. Many choose to offer that, whilst other prefer not to as PDFs are prone to pattern piracy.
If you absolutely prefer to print patterns we recommend purchasing directly from the designer’s online website if they have one - this way you can make sure you support them!
Okay, but I like how Ribblr has lots of free stuff. Why not do a print button? It will make Ribblr better and more easy to use.
If you dont like how ribblr decides to do/design THEIR app then you shouldnt be using it
Agreed
i just write the pattern on a piece of paper lol, it takes a while but in the end if it fits it ships
