Problems with super bulky yarn

Hello. I have a problem when making amigurumis with this yarn. I’m not sure what it’s called, but I’ll post a photo.

When making Amigurumi I try not to pull too hard so as not to have problems when making new stitches. When I go to sew the parts together, they start to fray. All the hair becomes a ball, creating a blockage and preventing the thread from passing through. I try to go slowly but there comes a time when after passing the same thread through several places it ends up getting stuck.I burn the end with a lighter to make it fray, but the problem is in the middle of the thread.

Maybe trying to gently pull it through. O always have the same problem but when I gently pull, it works.

Thanks. I’ll try. I always end up getting desperate and breaking the thread.

I usually untangle the tail from the loop before doing sc or dc

Yeah that’s chenille and a very often problem with them, for the sewing, a tip that really helped me was to use non chenille yarn I just use worsted acrylic :yarn: in the closest color I have, you don’t see the new yarn and no worries about it snapping if you pull too hard compared to the chenille
