You’ve made such great progress. I really needed to hear that today as I’ve been fussing at myself for the same things. You’re right that we’ve come a long way and should be proud of ourselves.
So cuteee
my earliest project was a VERY misshapen beanie full of holes. I still have it and wear it sometimes!
My most recent one was a ice cream octopus, (from ribblr!) that took me about two hours of nonstop work and TV.
Mine was a wooble that def had some gaps and needed work. It’s been a year and a half since I started almost and I def feel like I’ve come a long way but sewing is still the bane of my existence
I only do amigurumis, so my crochet is more likely to be nor tight, nor loose
Your projects are amazing! Don’t feel bad for a bit loose or floppy amigurumis! I think they’re very good (if using fluffy yarn!)
Bro, i have hemiparesis and i’ve been sooo frustrated and discoraged to try crochet, but one day, after years i tried again, with a new method, and here i am <3
Also, every time after a seizure, i feel discouraged and scared.
Thank you for your message, I needed to hear that. My first crochet was a kit, a flamingo, it was all weird and funny , and today I’m having trouble with a pattern way more difficult but I have made so many progress since. It gives me courage to keep up. Thank you and good job for your progress!
My first project didn’t even get picture it was a “blanket” for my daughter’s doll. No straight edges in sight. It was caddy wampus to say the least. She still has it I think. The poor girl. I don’t the stitches weren’t even either. Some were so tight I could barely get my hook into them in the next row. And stitches were dropped and added along the way. She sure does love her mama. Lol my latest project for her, she is much older and willing to go in public wearing it. And toys I made for her sister and her bestie
