Making a huge bag or basket or doll carriage?

It started off as a rug but then messed up somewhere and was to lazy at the time and got bored so decided to turn it in to a basket, which seems kinda floppy soo might be a really big bag, or might just end up frogging the whole thing and starting over any how lol gotta love ADHD and crochet plus being broke. Oh and I forgot to mention that the yarn I’m using is at least 7 years old and I got it from someone else so I don’t actually know how old this yarn is.

Finished product. Now to frog because 1) ran out of the yarn and 2) I messed up in some places and I want to try a different technique.

Big a$$ ball of yarn. That bottle is a 12 fl oz bottle of Tabasco… so the bigger bottle. Also ow lol hand balling 2 skeins of yarn hurts.

I don’t like balling them, 
I’d rather cake them so they don’t roll around.
Yeah I don’t have a machine to do that and every time I do the trick to cake it starting on the thumb it just ends up balling anyways.
