PSA - iOS26 🍏

Hey Ribblrs!

iOS 26 is expected to be released next week. Unfortunately, Apple has not yet resolved several bugs in Safari, WebKit, and related elements that Ribblr (and many other apps and websites, including Apple.com) rely on.

As a result, you may notice issues such as menus shifting when using the keyboard. This will mainly affect community features, like writing a post or using search.
Ribblr will still be fully usable, but the experience may feel buggy when using the new iOS 26 keyboard.

Thank you for your patience and understanding - this is unfortunately out of our control.
Our recommendation is to hold off on upgrading until Apple issues fixes.

i just updated to ios26 and can confirm there’s a little glitch involving the menu! it isn’t messing up as i type, but the navigation menu does stay in the same place on the screen as i scroll, both in the community and on the regular app homepage with all the patterns listed.

like ribblr said, it isn’t stopping me from using the app/navigating through it, but if you are concerned about the visual glitch, i’d definitely advise to wait to update like they suggested! just wanted to respond with my experience to hopefully help some others who were interested in the update!

edit: here’s a screenshot of what i mean!

I have a new iPhone 16 it is my iPad Pro that is older. I primarily use the iPad as the iPhone screen is small and I prefer the larger iPad screen. I intend to replace the iPad when I get my tax refund in the spring

Just a question…
Is this just on Apple devices or on all devices?
I am accessing Ribblr from a Windows computer so I was just wondering.

It’s an Apple bug relating to iOS26 which is the new operating software set to be released next week. This affects all websites and apps that rely on Safari or WebKit. Apple are aware.
