I’m quite new to crochet, is it okay to publish a pattern which had a decoration or something similar that was NOT included in the pattern and explicitly stated to be the owners and credited. If it was on the photo would that be bad?

@leaders sorry for bothering you but I’m not sure whether it would be okay to ask someone to use their appliqué on a project, if I didn’t include it in the pattern and put a warning that it was in the photo only and you had to find your own or use the one that I link

When you publish a pattern, it is essential that your cover photo accurately reflects the end result that crafters should expect. Your cover photo should not include any embellishments that are not part of the pattern, as this can be misleading for users who acquire your patterns.
