I donāt completely remember, but I started at the purple corner, so I think after I finished the color section I just left the yarn where it was (didnāt cut it, and didnāt carry it through the rest of the project) and added/changed to the new color.
Iām not completely sure on this, so if it makes no sense then Iām sorry

Thank you. That took forever to make. I made the graph and was not expecting it to fit a king size bed. Then I ran out of one of the yarns and could not find any where. Fast forward 5 years and I found the correct yarn online and finished it in a few weeks. Thankfully I wrote the yarns and hook size on the back of the pattern. I refused to give up after so much work.

For that one you would just drop one color and pick up the next. When you turn around you will just pick it up again when you get to it. For the most part in C2C you drop colors (do not cut) and then pick them up again. C2C is hard to explain but pretty easy to do once you get started. You are such a talented artist that I bet you will catch on quickly.
