So over the summer, I’m going to start selling Crochet animals!! I plan to sell them at markets. I also plan to make an Instagram account to sell them ( my mom is helping with that and I don’t know many details about it yet ). I don’t have patterns of my own, so I want to sell things I make using other people’s patterns. Just wondering if this is okay to do with all patterns, and do I always need to credit the pattern creator? Also I don’t really know how I would credit them based on how I plan to sell them. Does anyone have any helpful tips? Thanks so much! <3

Usually the pattern will say if you’re able to sell things that you make with it. You do have to credit the pattern creator.

When you sell them you could have the pattern creator’s name on a tag that also has care instructions so people know how to care for your plushes and you credit the person at the same time
People are definitely more likely to buy if each product has a tag because it makes it seem more professional

Ok ya that helps THANKS <3
almost all patterns are ones you can sell, just make sure to check the description. if anyone asks, I always say that I made the product, but not the pattern, and if they ask, I have a list of the creators of the pattern. :)
(also, in case you need some patterns → I have some market help for you! 😊)
