Question of the Day - February 2 + Random Review I Found Online

I think its fine… if you know what its for and you actually NEED IT. I litterally just wash my face when I remember and im fine. My HAIR on the other hand… it is very high maintenance

i just use water, a bit of facewash in the morning, at some moisterizer. occasionally I’ll use a bit of like concealer if i have a spot.

personally, i think let the skincare enthusiasts be. and i think the whole thing abt the Sephora 10 y/o s are very over the top. like, chill.

the thing is these kids are like 10 they don’t need like anti wrinkling cream, what wrinkles do they have (I feel like its gonna have some negative effects as they get older) and gua sha, when I was their age I just rinsed my face :skull:
As a teenager I think it rlly depends on your skin type and the amount of time you have but each to their own ig.

Its actually kinda sad that little girls want skincare for your birthday they should be asking for toys and stuff, like they should appreciate their younger years before its too late :sob::sob:

The skin has it’s own process for maintaining itself. Washing regularly disturbs it and it’s protective layers, which is why a lot of people then have to moisturize afterwards. I used to try to do a fancy routine (the whole cleansing and moisturizing thing) but all it did was make my acne worse. Now I only use water if I feel like I need it, and maybe some sort of cleansing thing only once a week in the shower (sometimes it’s just shampoo from while I’m washing my hair). Occasionally I use soap and water if I have a problem area on my face (or feel one coming on), on just that spot. My skin has overall been much happier this way, but I understand that what works for me might not necessarily work for everyone.

Honestly, i have incredibly oily and dry skin at the same time and i have not had a clear face in 3 yearsm i am a teenager who washes her face, uses a vaseline lotion and puts lip BALM and vaseline on her lips. That is literally all i do. But i have to because my skin is desert dry on my forehead and olive oild oily in my hairline and all the rest of my face. This is not result of me having bad skincare, just bad genes. Also, i canot use cetaphil because i had a very painful time when i used it. So i switched to a fragrantless neutrogena facial instead. I usually only use pimple patches when they dont show as a whitehead, but a big lump on my arm
