kind of; i’ve never gotten one myself, but i stayed w/ a family member for ~1.5 months last summer and he kept a bunch of them. i had to help take care of them.
while i was there about 70% of the tank died in a single evening. (not too surprising, there was always at least one sick or dead fish in there. they also cannibalized each other a lot.) i feel bad for them honestly

Yep, as a child lots of goldfish
I had a betta named jeff for I think 3 or 4 years.
Shared a betta with my youngest sister named chip, with a snail named dale (chip’n’dale) he died last year

Sure did! I had five at the same time named: Fifi, James, Cloud, Sugar, and Princess Strawberry. Alas, they have all swum off to fish heaven now.

I have had 20 fish…(no joke, they kept dying) but my most recent fish was last year, I got him for my birthday and named him after my fav Anime character (deku/izuku) but he died 2 days after I got him

I’ve HAD 6 goldfish
chip, Charlie, bubbles, blink, booble, blubble (I had them in the same order of their names one after another)
they were all buried in my backyard

Yeah so many lol. At one point i think we had six tanks of all different sizes and probably about 100 fish. So ya i dont remember a time where there werent fish in my house lol

Lol, no. My brother had two-- my dad thought one had died so he flushed it down the toilet. My sister currently has one though!
