Question of the Day - October 26

Good Morning! Today’s question may be controversial,
Do you think Oceania is a continent? (What you think, not what the internet says)
Here we go:
I think it is, it’s just not part of the seven main continents I learned as a kid.
How about you?

I’ve always thought of Oceania as a region (because it is made up of many islands) rather than as a continent, but Australia itself is a continent :kangaroo:

Oceana is definitely a continent I’m my opinion. I live in Oceana

It’s also what we were taught in school (I live in Australia). I think a continent is a large landmass, hence Oceania itself would be more of a region and Australia a continent within it.
