Hi I was just wondering if $15 is too much to charge for a crochet beanie like this?
Definitely not!
15 dollars is very reasonable:3
I think that’s perfect. it also looks really nice:)
If it was made out of RHSS- yeah $15-20.
You need to look at what the stores are charging for a simple hat. $20x
Gosh, just to get a headband is $10- scrap of fabric sewed together-,seriously?
If the beanie has nice yarn, charge 30 for a simple pattern, if cables and more details and those lovely faux fur pom poms charge $40-50
It was made with lion brand landscapes and it’s acrylic, I was comparing to store prices and Etsy prices to try and make it fair, thank you for your opinion and help also I’m thinking about adding a pom pom I’m just not sure what color would look best
Thank you
Thank you, I just know there are people who aren’t willing to pay for handmade items and I wanted to give a fair price
Thank you
well those people can go suck it, your work and crafts are definitely worth what you put into them and charge.
Yup agree with cloud! Good customers are willing to pay a fair price for a handmade item.
My highest priced item is $110. I had someone buy a $65 triceratops and she loved it! She actually got a bunch of items from me lol, ended up to totaling to $127.
If someone complains about my prices because they’re not the same as you can find in a store, they’re not welcome in my business :]
I used to charge $20 for a basic teen/ adult size beanie
$15 for baby- child size
But those prices were over 5 years ago
A friend charges $28-30 for adult size and (I think) $25 for baby
And I feel I’d start around here if I were to start selling again
I’d say you are under charging at $15, remember this is a skill and should be compensated as such
Then they don’t buy handmade Their problem, not yours!
That’s beautiful!
Not at all, $15 is perfect!
