Some of you may have seen my previous post about making a loaf cat for my dad. Well, I have begun!
I am making a smaller prototype to get the color pattern just right, but I want to make a bigger version for the actual gift.
Well, Michaels didn’t have the colors I needed in chunky yarn. So I am going to be doubling up worsted weight yarn.
My only question is, what on earth size hook should I use to make this cat, then?!

When I use double worsted weight, I use 4 mm to 5 mm hooks, depending

Can’t wait to see your cat! Sorry your Michaels didn’t have much in stock. They are usually out at this point in the season, and recently they had a deal of BOGO 50℅ off, so that probably didn’t help the stock problem either.
