Is there yarn you can put into the microwave (microwave safe yarn) if that even is a thing just thought id ask

from google: the only yarn considered truly “microwave safe” is 100% cotton yarn; this is because cotton is a natural fiber that won’t melt or burn when exposed to microwave heat;. Other natural fibers like wool, linen, and hemp can also be considered microwave safe when pure and free of synthetic blends

There are also ways to dye yarn using a microwave but they don’t want you using the microwave to cook food in it after you do that because dyes can be toxic
