Is there yarn you can put into the microwave (microwave safe yarn) if that even is a thing just thought id ask
I have NO idea
from google: the only yarn considered truly “microwave safe” is 100% cotton yarn; this is because cotton is a natural fiber that won’t melt or burn when exposed to microwave heat;. Other natural fibers like wool, linen, and hemp can also be considered microwave safe when pure and free of synthetic blends
Tysm!
One question: Why are you microwaving your yarn?!!?!??!!?
Maybe to make one of those rice bags that you heat up to help with pain!
For like sicknesses and cramps
There are also ways to dye yarn using a microwave but they don’t want you using the microwave to cook food in it after you do that because dyes can be toxic
Are you following a pattern or making one? I’ve been looking for a pattern for one of these.
@T1R3dKn1tt3r Idk I might follow a normal pattern but make it so it can be microwaved
That makes sense
