Really hard crochet question… (poll)

I just randomly thought of this… idk what the correct answer is

which of these scenarios is better?

  • Chenille that snaps every time you try to pull it, but is nice to crochet with
  • Acrylic yarn that is sturdy, but squeaks a little during each stitch you make
  • there is no correct answer :smiling_face_with_tear:

Hook squeaks don’t really bug me, but when yarn snaps that really annoys me!

Ugh, it always happens to me with cotton yarn in a Magic Ring when I pull too hard. It is so frustrating!

I would rather have an obnoxious sound I can bury under a youtube video or music than yarn that’s breaking constantly. (Also my yarn breaking makes it not nice to crochet with so that cancels out. XD)

Guys, I genuinely don’t understand why yarn squeaking bothers everyone so much and why it would be an issue :sob:
like your yarn’s gonna squeak, it happens with crochet, it’s not that bad imo
