recommendations of circle cutters for felt pls <3

another day, another question from starlightfrogs

folks, i can’t keep cutting these felt circles for my plushies with scissors. i just can’t. it’s not good for my hands or for my sanity. it’s time i find a hole puncher that can handle felt :smiling_face_with_tear:

however, i have been googling to no end, and i can’t find anything that fits my sizing needs :scream:

i’m looking for something that is capable of cutting multiple sizes of circles, ideally one that has customizable sizing like this fiskars circle cutter. i actually might have considered looking into this one further to see if it’s suitable for felt… if it weren’t for the fact that the minimum diameter (1") is much bigger than i want the minimum to be  ideally i’d like a minimum of a 1/16" or 1/8" circle and a maximum of at least 1". (definitely open to bigger sizes for the latter but feeling like my options are going to be limited lol)

so… does such a gadget exist? does anything of this variety exist, even if it’s not entirely what i’m looking for? if so, please give me your recommendations

i’m not super familiar with cricut products so i can’t say for sure, but if they had some sort of handheld circle cutter i would probably give it a try!

Hmm I found this fiskars fabric circle cutter on Amazon.com, I’m not sure if it’s any different with it being used for fabric, I know others use hole punchers too so you can just google circle hole punchers and take into account the size of the shape and see reviews for a chance that someone used felt and mentioned how it worked against it

Do you have to use the cricut felt or does it cut any felt good? Im trying to decide what cricut to get!

that fabric cutter looks amazing oh my gosh, i just might have to consider it for my bigger circles! and yeah, at this point i think i have to resort to buying individual hole punches or lever punches because i’m not finding anything else that fits what i’m looking for :smiling_face_with_tear:

i found this article which seems like a nice guide for using felt with cricuts! (seems like it can be any felt but depending on the machine you might have to add some sort of backing to it?)
