hellooooio people of ribblr! I’m going to a renfaire on August 18th, but not entirely sure what to wear. I want to wear paws and such for a character I have (jellybean my beloved, he’s my profile photo) but I don’t know if I’ll have that done by then, or if it’ll be too hot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated<3

Super cool picture!
Ren faires are a lot of fun, but they’re usually really toasty. The ones I’ve been to are jam packed with people on top of that, so you get overheated real quick. Make sure you bring lots of water/prepare funds for hydration! I do not wish for you to experience heat stroke.

Oh my gosh, I I think you’re going to have so much fun!! You find all levels of cosplay there. People dress up as anything and everything! I just found the elf ears my Dad made for me at the last one we went to. I wore a super flowy chiffon dress to help keep cool too, so it was more on the simple side for me. Here’s the ears, I love that my parents are a jewelry making team so I wanna share what they look like!

Well that depends. How many sword fights are you getting into because you might want some chain mail under your costume and maybe some armor on the outside. But if that’s not what you’re doing then idk

Omg yes! The Cruel Prince is an amazing series! Especially if you like fairies, and misunderstood villain tropes! I’ve read the series 3 times and it never gets old! Holly Black writes the best fairie novels ever!
