Report Ai together!!

Heyyy! So, I know ai is taking over the crochet world a little bit and it is honestly taking my fun and will to crochet… Ai is getting better at crochet pictures with every single one that gets generated… There are a lot of topics right now, saying: look, I found these crochet ai patterns on Etsy or so! (AND THATS GREAT) But I think, there should be a personal space, dm or chat for it. So when you find an ai pattern, you can all report it together and there will be a higher chance It’ll get taken down (I mean on ribblr, but also Etsy and all the other crochet pattern spaces) sorry If this doesn’t make sense of already exists, but I’d love to hear your opinion about how we can make more people aware of fake crochet patterns, so poeple won’t but a fake pattern!

I agree that AI is becoming very strong and we need to do something about it! However im not sure if there is already a space…

I know I saw something really cool on here where people found AI crochet patterns, made one and then made their own pattern of the same thing that was real and better than the AI pattern​:sparkling_heart:

I think ai is kind of destroying the creativity of it (idk if i explained that well lol)
Like soon everything we do will be take over ai…

Yesss :sob: its like the old greek gods when they created humans (in stories): “give them the power, but not the fire and the creativity to make” (at least thats what my Greek teacher says) eventually the humans got blessed with creativity and the will to create but now, we gave that to AI and make the same mistake :sob: (I don’t want to offend someone, this is just how my teacher said it and I thought it is exactly like ai now…)

We can also help real creaters by using pictures with our reviews of patterns. And only sharing patterns that are real. Definitely report AI on everything, Facebook, Etsy, Ribbler, and any others.

Does anyone have an idea how to do this? Maybe I can ask who want to be in the dm/chat/personal space and make a group for it or something? Idk what is best but since we can’t make extra chats (craft chat, general etc) I am slightly leaning to do a dm group or smth, If many people report the same design, it’ll be more likely taken down :relieved_face:
