Ribblr Earth Day Pattern Round-Up!

Hi everyone!

Earth Day is tomorrow and we have so many wonderful patterns on Ribblr that represent Earth Day! A great reminder that the Earth is our home and a place we should be taking care of.

Over on Ribblr, we pride ourselves with our eco-friendly sustainability. Keeping all of our patterns digital, we have reduced a ton of paper consumption - did you know that on average every 36 crafters on Ribblr save a whole tree and over 200kWh of energy every single year? Amazing!

On average every 36 crafters on Ribblr save a whole tree and over 200kWh of energy every single year

Based on the following data and assumptions:

  • 3 patterns per month consumed by each crafter
  • Each printed pattern on average is 9.5 a4 pages long
  • 12,500 sheets of a4 are produced from a single tree
  • 12,500 sheets printed produce emissions of 750KgCO2eq and 250kWh of energy

I have a lot of reusable items. A mini market or harvest bag. Easy to adapt to larger sizes. Reusable water balloons are a must. Teething rings and ice packs will help by not using the plastic. Sales in honor. Check them out. A bit of self promo, but mostly help the earth. (oops, almost forgot the soap saver)

I have downloaded all the freebies!! And I don’t print unless I just have to. I use my phone 99% of the time. I am all about reusable items.

Happy Earth day! :earth_africa: A good tip is if you have plastic bags you can consider making plarn, they’re great for household items and whatnot :smile:

I have MANY reusable home good items in my shop including washcloths, dishcloths and swiffer covers!

Several patterns are free if youre looking for quick makes!
