When I first asked you whether we should make our own yarn, you didn’t just say yes. You told me what you wanted it to be.
You also told me about the things that frustrate you about getting yarn today. the prices, quality, lack of innovation… and most importantly the feeling that the people making the yarn don’t always understand the people actually using it.
Every detail of Ribblr Yarn matters to us.
And that includes how our yarn arrives at your door!
Today, I’m excited to give you a little peek at our Ribblr Yarn packaging
We’ve designed it to be completely Ribblr playful, colorful, and made with you, our community, in mind.
But there’s one part of this packaging that’s especially personal to me.
With your yarn you’ll get a little thank-you note from me. And yes, I wrote it by hand
(Don’t worry, I didn’t write 5million of them, lol…see original version below)
As we’re working on the yarn, I keep coming back to the same thought:
The real people on the other side of every order. You guys.
Real makers who chose to spend their time, creativity and money on something we made. I don’t ever want us to lose sight of that.
Ribblr Yarn is made for and by a community that believes crafters deserves better.
And we’re getting closer!
More soon:)
Let me know in the comments when was the last time you wrote a ‘thank you’ note and who was it for.
This is so sweet, I love it! It is truly awesome that ribblr really prioritizes quality and community. The last time I wrote a thank you card was about a week ago, and it was for my aunt.
Thank you lir, for seeing the issues we have as crafters out there and innovating and looking for new ways forward. I know we all appreciate what you are doing from the bottom of our hearts
ooh, that looks great! it’s so cool to see everything coming together :)
the last time i wrote a thank you note was a couple weeks ago to one of my friends, thanking them for treating me to starbucks and that it was really fun to hang out.
Ahh its looks amazing! I’m so glad I found Ribblr, and I really appreciate all the things you do for us! Last time I wrote a thank you note was yesterday to my grandpa since it’s his birthday in few days <3
I include a handwritten thank you note with every commissioned delivery. I purchased 100 blank cards for this purpose. I include several extra business cards so that they can share with their friends and family. I received a note when I ordered something from our local mill, and that really meant something. They put it on a postcard.
I think clients/customers appreciate the little extra time we put into a handwritten thank you. Eventually it will turn into repeat customers.
I love that that thank you note is included. I always love and feel drawn to companies that show they care and include a personal note.
Thank YOU. We very much appreciate the care you take, and all you do for us. Ribblr is the great place it is because of that. And the yarn promises to be great too.
The last thank you note I wrote was for a birthday gift from a friend who lives out of town, a short while ago.
Also, I have the pattern for that sweater shown in the thank you note in my to do list. I should be working on it in a couple of months .
I already have the yarn I was planning to use in it. Right now I have it in navy blue and peach.
But maybe I’ll use that yarn for something else and get Ribblr yarn to make the original sweater That’d be so cool, with the yarn arriving with a thank you card actually showing the photo of the exact sweater I’m going to make with it.
The ribblr yarn looks amazing!!!
You’re so close to being able to achieve Ribblr yarn!
I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
The last thank you note I wrote was for my best friend.
the last time i wrote a thank you note was this spring, when i wrote each of my ballet teachers one for our performance :3 (i also gave them aloe vera plants)
Thank you so much for creating this wonderful community filled with support for all crafters I think it’s amazing how much ribblr has grown! The last time I wrote a thank you card was to my little sister
