Safety Eye Recommendations

Hey all! I’d love recommendations for safety eyes. I’ve gotten several different kinds, and my biggest issue with some of them is the washers. Would love to see what everybody likes!

I buy mostly in bulk now because I know what I like, but I swear I have tried every possible seller on amazon. Occasionally I find a washer or two in my go-to bulk set that’s wonky (you buy cheap stuff, you get cheap stuff), but they usually still work fine and are good value and even better when on sale (basically a 50/50 if they are or aren’t)

My go-to now (sometimes has 14mm as another option, you just have to check occasionally):
https://www.amazon.ca/UPINS-Washers-Plastic-Amigurumi-Supplies/dp/B0CR6GZ6W2/ref=sxin_23_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?
A variety set I like (eyes, noses, a few colored ones):
Meafeng 600 Pcs Colorful Plastic Safety Eyes and Noses with Washers, Safety Eyes for Stuffed Animal, Amigurumi Eyes Doll Plush Teddy Bear Crochet Eyes for Crafts Making (Ø 6~14mm) : Amazon.ca: Home?
A variety of larger eyes:
Amazon.ca?

I am in no way an expert though, so I’m interested to see what others use. Hope this helps somewhat!

I still have some 20mm brown safety eyes from joanns (rip:disappointed_face:) and I use them for my larger snakes. My smaller snakes use 10 mm safety eyes. I like to use the safety eyes that match the size of my projects.

I buy all mine from this brand. I did have one set come in where the washers did not fit on the posts (they were too small) and they refunded me but let me keep them. We were able to put them to use still. Good customer service from what I’ve had to deal with and all the eyes have stayed that I’m aware of. I do prefer the sinker eyes now that I’ve finally gotten some and I love painting my own so I get clear now.

I have a pack like this, but I hate the washers so much lol they’re so hard to attach. I might just get a tool to put them together and save my poor fingers the trouble

The kawaii type eyes with the white dots were a gift so I should mention that. I’m not sure where those came from but a friend didn’t need them anymore so she gave them to me

I think those are these

Also I do have a pair of 3d printed pliers to install them. They have some on Amazon. Highly recommend

My best friend has an attachment tool, too, and loves it. I think that might be my saving grace lol
