hi guys im running out of safety eyes so i was wondering where yall get your safety eyes cause mine are just from amazon and are crapy and cheap soooo if you to any recommendations HELP!

If you’re crafty you could probably make your own using a 3d pen, just make sure not to burn yourself.
Other things you could try (rather than buying them from ali or shein etc) are hot glue gun and colouring that with nail polish, resin molded eyes, felted or crocheted eyes. I havent tested many of these so theyre just ideas. Safety eyes are an adorable option but there are so many options out there and you migjt learn something new along the way, good luck

I used to get mine from a local craft store, then Walmart but not every Walmart has them. Now i use buttons. I can say though that not everyone like the buttons just because they tend to look creepy (its a comment I get, but I like them much more than safety eyes).

I don’t like safety eyes mostly because of what has been said here. If they are cheaply made, they are not safe. “Not safe for children under 3” is on the packages. You cannot follow that toy you made forever, some 2 year old may get ahold of it someday.

Yeah, Temu can be tricky with that–I also bought a lot of safety eyes from there, and once I ordered “safety eyes” that had sticky backsides instead of the regular ones; sadly, you need to scan the product pictures to make sure there are backs/safety caps coming with them But I’ve had no problem with it since I started looking for that!
