Well, it wasn’t working to get the free gem in the phone app. (I have an android phone)
I decided to try using ribblr.com and it worked there.
Sharing in case anyone else has the same issue.

So if I had 1 gem obviously there are the patterns in my library but if I got 2 gems would the patterns I could get change because I have more? (Not to sound rude @Ribblr )

you can claim Gem Patterns with any gems you have, they stay in your library but can’t be changed or exchanged.

Ribblr I am sorry I messed up on my wording I meant if I had one gem there would be those patterns in the gem shop but if I got two gems would the patterns change to other stuff because I had more gems?
