Thank you everyone! Your kindness and suggestions have given me some motivation back! Enough that while I let my kids wreck the house around me, I added a little bird to him!!

I am feeling the love and am so grateful!

To those who offered to test, I have made a note and will contact you when it is time. You guys are the best!!

Thank you all again!

Heres some advice I use when I don’t have much crojo. Take as many breaks as needed, dont force yourself to much. If you just can’t enjoy making the pattern take a break, start a long project that you dont have to think as much with. For me, that would be making a blanket, using the C2C tecnique. You just repeat the same thing and you can watch a show/movie listen to music or an audio book. Play games, whether its video games or board games with family or friends. Or go on pinterest and find ideas, work on multiple projects at once and switch between them when you gwt bored of one. Do NOT push yourself over your limit. Take care of your body don’t crochet for hours and hours at a time, take breaks so you can crochet for longer. Just do what you need to, so you don’t cause burnout or lose your crojo. Good luck your pattern! He is sooo cute!

Thank you so much! Yes, I think you’re right that I need a “mindless” project. I have a couple of wips but they all take concentration and reading! I was hesitant to start yet another project, but I think I have to. Lol. Thank you so much!

Your welcome! I just started making a blanket using all my scrap yarn and yarn I dont use in general. I do reccomened using the C2C technique, its a life saver I cant skip any stitches. I tend to crochet a lot every day, and I get bored of a certain project and just need to focus on something else or nothing at all and just start a blanket

Ah. I have the A50. It doesn’t do closeups well. I think my husband has an A52 (50- something) and his camera is AMAZING!

Your scarecrow brought a smile to my face the moment I saw him. You’ve done a great job creating him and I’d love to be a tester when you’ve written out the pattern. Walk away and do something else not crochet related - take a walk, do some mindfulness meditation, give it a day or 2 and your “cro-jo” will return. Your mind needs time to rest just like your body does after exercise. You’ve got this! Great work.

More or less it means to lose one’s crochet creativity and motivation. Like writer’s block.

This pattern is already finished with testing. You can purchase it from the designer if you’d like.

Edit: Thanks @MakesbyMalin for posting the correct link. I don’t know what I was thinking.
