Scrubby cotton yarn?

I got a mystery box with my holiday money, and I am now the proud owner of 9 skeins of scrubby cotton yarn!
What can I do with this besides dishcloths?
I read that you weren’t supposed to use it on your face for face scrubbies. I’m not sure what else to use it for.
Who has ideas for me?

oh, I’m so excited for you!!!
if it’s the 100 % cotton, you can use it on your body… scrubby used to have a plastic coating on it that made it scrubbier , but it’s been discontinued, and I am almost out of my last ball of it,
You can crochet a swiffer / swiffer type cover, you can make pot scrubbers, you can make soap savers, body scrubbers, flat work to dry dishes on, stove/sink polishers, dusters, furniture buffers, small pouches to hold laundry scent beads if you don’t want them on your clothes, dusters, OMG, Im so jealous!!

soles for house slippers, cat toys, vacuum hose filter thingies so you don’t suck up cat toys, bathmat, hair drying towel

Not sure why not. I have seen exfoliating scrubbies. But if you don’t want to I understand. I have a fun scrubby you could test for me with it. :wink: I can add you as a tester so you can try it. Or at least see it. I have made several, but not since uploading the pattern to Ribblr.

I’ve been wanting to load my scrubbies pattern, but it’s knit and more useful than pretty. I have a whole collection of patterns for all the things I listed, I just figured they were too boring to list for now

Also for ideas. Maybe if you want a fuzzy edge around a hat on amigurumi, it might work for that.

Haha. I’m sure she knew and just didn’t tag us both. You had some pretty awesome ideas! Me, I’m more a scrubby person with using it myself.
