Hi all! Those of you who have shipped out your amigurumi makes either to friends and family or to customers, how do you ship the small less than 6” in size ones? Do you put all in a box for mailing for that extra protection or do the tiny/mini ones do you bubble wrap and then ship in a bubble mailer? I usually just ship things like knit dish cloths, socks, scarves, hats, and sewn clothing haha which are all fine in padded mailers so just looking to see what standard practice is for amigurumi. Or from a recipient side, if you buy them how do you prefer they are shipped to you in the mail? In a bubble mailer wrapped in bubble wrap or in a small box? Thank you all for your insights! Have a wonderful day!

I usually use a small box, and to protect my amigurumi from getting wet I wrap it in a plastic bag. I use plastic t-shirt bags that say “thank you.”

Bubble mailers or small boxes

I use what I have available, if I have a nice little box that fits it I use that first. If I don’t I wrap in tissue paper, then a plasting bag(normally recycled from a yarn delivery, then I wrap place in a bubble mailer or wrap in brown parcel paper(I use extra plastic under if I do thid).
I prefer small box though for the aesthetics but maybe my cats have tricked me into thinking carboard boxes are aesthetic
