Show me how you write/write your patterns!!

Show me how you write/ write your patterns! I think it would be very interesting if we all shared how we write our patterns, so that beginner designers who are just learning how to design patterns can have a sense of different styles. I write my patterns like this.

I draw a sketch of what the image looks like, then I start the process of putting the pattern together. My handwriting looks like this.

Normally I make it up as I gp crochet and write the steps down in my pattern book. If its a pattern ive not really made before I use my junk pattern book where most of my older ones are scribbled. Ill add a picture Tommorow.

I doodle some ideas of what I want it to look like, the I write down the pattern and make it once to make sure it works. If I’m gonna put it on Ribblr, I write the pattern up on here then make it again to test it.

I put everything into a notebook and then I transfer it to ribblr

This is a cool idea. I always really enjoy the way patterns look handwritten and diagrammed. Sometimes my ridiculous handwriting comes back to bite me though

I like to draw things out while I work if I’m having trouble with the math.
