i am making a bag and the sides keep curling up and i can’t unravel because i am almost done any other soloutions and why this is happening?

Depending on the yarn, you may be able to get it wet and block it into the shape you want.

Usually the result of tension. If you crochet tightly, like I do, things tend to curl. There are a few ways to help this for the current and future projects.
- If you’re starting with a chain, use a .5 to 1mm hook size larger, then go down to the intended size for the rest of the project.
- Use blocking when the project is finished
- Alternatively to blocking, steamers work, but be mindful of what fabric type you’re doing this with if you go with steam

you could try to block it with a blocking board, but if you don’t have one of those use a piece of cardboard and some t-pins. you could also try to stabilize it somehow so it doesn’t curl up as much
