I really donāt know. Sometimes for me when I accidentally switch it horizontal it gets stuck and I have to shake my phone in the diagonal way or reload the app. Maybe itās just a software glitch on your end? Unless if your on a computer then I really donāt know.
Thatās what I thought it was; but it was a solid 5 minutes and turning my phone didnāt change anything (I wasnāt in the locked portrait orientation so thatās not it)
baababbabababa. Maybe your phone needs a hard restart? Like a power down? Phones that donāt power down for a while are slower and as we know Ribblr isnāt the smoothest app
We havenāt had any other reports for these issues as of now nor could we reproduce them.
Could you share the steps you take to produce this issue in order for us to try and identify it?
Iām using an iPhone XR on iOS 16.5.1
The first two issues have only happened once and Iām not sure what caused them.
The third issue happens a large majority of the time when I open my keyboard in chats. All I do to trigger this is click my chat bar to type.
The fourth one is in every chat 24/7, and I know a lot of other people have this issue as well. Itās caused by more than one person sending chats at the same time. For example, if I send 5 messages in a row that make up a paragraph, there wonāt be anything separating those chats until I refresh, and then itāll show me that my chats are separated by otherās chats that previously did not show up.
In some cases the chats wonāt show up on everyoneās side until someone replies to one and then by clicking that replied to message then all those chats that previously werenāt there will load.
Sorry if this is a little convoluted.
Iām not quite sure how to explain the fourth one clearly
Please update your phone to the latest iOS. It should resolve most of the issues you experience. As for the chat lags, these should have been resolved in the update we did yesterday. Let us know if you still experience lags after your iOS update.
i had chat lag a few minutes ago. @Ribblr i said something, but when i reopened the app, i saw people were speaking before me, but when i typed it, there were no messages, same thing as when i sent it. sorry if this makes no sense
I canāt update my iOS due to parental restrictions on my phone.
However, I donāt see how that would fix this because people on android devices and laptops are also experiencing these issues.
Just to offer more explanation as a few different issues were mentioned here.
The issue with chat messages not appearing should be resolved as of yesterday though @tvgirl said she had this issue today - weāll continue to investigate. This is an ongoing issue.
As for the other issues that you mentioned - weāve had no additional reports and our team cannot seem to reproduce it. I do see a previous ticket with your name so we suggest an iOS fix as we believe itās a device issue rather than an issue on our end.
