Today I decorated sinker eyes for the first time and I’m absolutely in love with how they turned out! They were surprisingly easy to make and (in my opinion) turned out so well!
I used blue and purple glitter and made them for a dragon im in the process of making (using @ AbbySky baby dragon plushies pattern) and I’ll attach a picture of the finished dragon when it’s done

What is the difference in sinker eyes and the regular kind?

Regular eyes are just black no color But slinker eyes have black in the middle with colorful outlines near the edges

Sinker eyes are designed to sink into the yarn better. They also usually have different edges than standard safety eyes. Plus in my opinion the backings are much stronger
it’s a pain to get them on but they’re nearly impossible to get off

Ooh that’s cool I didn’t know that! Thats probably why they have slinker in the name isn’t it?

Lol yeah I think it’s because the eyes edges are rounded and so are the backs which allows the eyes to pull into the fabric better. I personally like them better than safety eyes. They feel more secure plus you can make them unique
I’ve been messing around with customizing eyes too and I think I’m going to try some with paint and see how it goes
I’m not a crafty person outside of crochet so it’s a toss up

They look so perfect on your dragon! I’d hold onto that for the memories. It’s so very cute.
