I made for my TLOTR and dragon fan Smaug…he is suppposed to be red/gold with a snake like posture…belly full of gold coins wit only a place where the 
is without protection…well I left that bit but made the colors…hopefully he will like it when he comes back for the weekend (he stays at school during the week due to his ASD)
And yes I share with you the link to the pattern here…ofc made my own thingy with it but that is for everything that we create
He looks really good. Hope he likes it. Smaug is so cool. He was my first dragon that I really remember reading about and thinking was cool as a kid. 
I know, he learned about him trough his grandmother who is a huge fan of TLOTR. Then again with his cardgame magic the gathering

Love it so much! Huge fan of LOTR! I started crocheting because my son wanted a Frodo stuffy and I couldn’t find one anywhere lol

In J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, Smaug is described as a vast, red-golden dragon with bat-like wings, a long tail, and a pale belly crusted with diamonds, gems, and gold from lying on his treasure for centuries.
I only did not make that belly but that is ok
Maybe that would be doable for the extra large dragon pattern I made a few months ago (the one in my pfp, yes I still have to put out a tester call lol)

And I should really read LOTR
It is here where i live “The lord of the rings” so i just keep it like this if you don’t mind.
I would like to test it. I have still yarn to make a bigger one

Not offensieve but just a way what we do here. Maybe more a local thing than a national thing but we always use those things, like not just 1D but The 1D, not just Frank but The Frank. It is a bit our way to talk here so it is to difficult to stop that for me
