Hello, I’ve been knitting for a year or two and finding good yarn brands while allergic to most animal furs/wools is difficult.
My biggest issue in particular is finding a good sock yarn, many good brands are Sheep, Alpaca or Rabbit and my family, including myself, are horribly allergic! Do any of you folks have any recommendations for acrylic, cotton, etc, sock yarn?
CoBaSi sock yarn, hands down. My house is wool-free, bc my mom is allergic. And this yarn is an absolute hit!

Oh thank you! That looks good from what I can tell. You use it, how would you say the finish piece feels? (Soft, scratchy, etc)
The socks are soft but durable, I think. Here is a pic of one I made with the yarn:
I’ll definitely have to get a couple skeins and try it out, that looks gorgeous. How many skeins do you take to make a pair?
For a men’s medium, I bought two skeins and had some left over (but not enough for another sock).
