Hi! My name’s Casper, and I’m looking to start making a star bag by hotpuddingcrochets ( FREE Small Star Bag: Crochet pattern | Ribblr ). I realllly need help choosing what colour yarn I should use!! I’ve always wanted to use a Caron cake before and I feel like this would be the perfect time to use one!

I personally like the $18 one better, but I know if I was making it I’d choose the cheaper yarn lol

I have the one on the left and love how it works, it feels amazing and the colors somewhat bold in a way that makes it pop. I have it in two other colors as well and below is a picture of a bag I made using the color bumblebee instead so you can see how it would stripe in case that’s helpfull

i think the 13 dollar one looks really pretty! it might get stained easily though, so perhaps the 18$ one would work better!
I just went through the tabs on my computer to close them and found I have the page open for the 18 dollar yarn, Caron Cakes Yarn | Yarnspirations so I think I officially love that color

I wanted to reply to everyone but I wasn’t actually expecting to get more than one or two replies so I hope everyone sees this thank you all so much for your input and I’ve ultimately decided to go for the $18 one! I have a lot to do with crochet especially before Christmas so this could take me a while to start or make but if you’d like to get an update of when I do I’ll totally do another reply to my original post :)
