Has anyone tried tackling this Sophie Scarf by crocheting a version of it? I’m generally curious.

I freehanded something similar, started out with chain 3 and then increased on the sides as I wanted the width to be, usually on the last stitch of the row to keep track and keep it consistent. Did that until I was at the desired width and did no increases until I was at half of the desired length and did the same just backwards (I wrote the increases down, but didn’t keep the record). I used hdc in the back loop only to create the ribbing and slip stitched all around once it was finished.
