Hi!
The pattern is finally out! I’m so excited, Halloween is my favourite time of the year

Here is a link if you want to check it out :
There’s no pictures from the testers yet but I’ll share them on my socials tomorrow, as well as in the comments of this post. If you have questions about the pattern, I’ll be happy to answer them! I already know that you’re wondering if it works with velvet/blanket yarn and the answer is yes, it does! It’s a good way to get a giant pumpkin.
However, the shape isn’t as structured as with stiff cotton, which is to be expected. One of my testers had a cool trick to remedie this issue: she doubled her yarn with raffia thread.

Congrats on the release!!
Congrats on another great pattern release!
Congratulations on your release, and thanks for the fibre tips!

Here are my testers’ creations

The orange pumpkin with black eyes in the bottom left corner was made by @MadeByMsMelly and the blue pumpkin (it actually lights up!) was made by @Missriekly . The other testers aren’t on Ribblr but you can find them on IG if you want to know more about what they used and see more pictures. I don’t think I’m allowed to share exterior links, but I tagged everyone in my IG post, so you’ll find their accounts easily!
I love them all, I couldn’t pick a favourite.
Orange is classic, timeless, perfect for fall. The neon pink was such a surprise, I never use that colour in any of my projects and now I think that I should be bolder in my colour choices! A blue pumpkin was unexpected too, but I’m here for it! It looks spooky.
Black is very on-theme for Halloween. The one in the bottom right corner turned out huuuuge, like a real pumpkin!
