Spread the word

Okay, so if anyone could weigh in here it would be a great help, I recently have had someone come forward and let me know temu was selling a kit using my Orange dragon crochet pattern. I’m not sure wether they used just the picture of the dragon or included the pattern since I wasn’t able to find it, but this kind person did let me know they seen it on temu! Again, I have not been able to find it but if you can and see it please screen shot it and send it my way!
From this point on I will no longer be having my patterns as free/ free for 24hours since I’m not sure where they would have gotten my pattern from. I would ASSUME instagram but I personally sent everyone the link so I would seriously hope it wasn’t a fellow crocheter.
That being said if it was instagram I feel bad having to do this to my shop followers on here but I’m honestly not sure what to do here, this is definitely a first for me and has me confused as to what next steps I should take?

Update: I removed the picture since I forgot to mark out the bottom bar with their name!! Thankfully it wasn’t my picture/ pattern but one that looked similar. I also want to thank the people who decided to comment and help, I’m not sure how to close a chat but I did feel the need to give an update, once again thank you to everyone

Yes! Since I haven’t been able to find it hopefully the took it down/ doesn’t exists but I don’t want to discredit someone, especially when they were kind enough to send a concerning message so I’m really hoping they just took it down!

You would need to file a DCMA (digital millennium copyright act) takedown notice with Temu if you find that your picture or your pattern has been sold without your permission. I refuse to use Temu so you will have to find out how to contact Temu to find out how to do this. More than likely they have a specific email address or snail mail address to send your take down request to.

It is difficult to search Temu itself for information as it has so many pop ups.

Agreed, personal never was interested in temu, since the first time I ever heard about it, it was people warning me about them stealing your data and since then I haven’t heard much good things about it.
