Squishy Alternatives to Polyfill

I’m newer to amigurumi (I usually make accessories, wearables, or home decor) and I’m wanting to make my amigurumi really squishy. Does anyone have any recommendations for alternatives to polyfill to make really squishy amigurumi?

Apparently memory foam works well? (As long as it’s cut into very, very tiny pieces)
You could also just use polyfil or stuffing from a pillow but not fully stuff your amigurumi
Other than that, I don’t think there’s any other ways to specifically make them more squishy? I’m not sure though

I personally use a wool stuffing for my amigurumi, and it behaves the same as polyfill but isn’t synthetic. I’ve also tried recycled cotton stuffing and it works, but it’s a little bit more clumping than the other options. It would definitely still give a squishy effect though.
