Okay I’m starting my first wearable. I am making a dress. It will be floor length and I found a skirt pattern that I like so I’m going to be freehanding the bodice. Whats a good stitch for the bodice? I dont want a mesh look so something that doesnt show holes. Should I just do all SC? HDC?

I don’t really know, I would recommend sc but it’s really up to you to know if you want a fast project, a harmonious one…
I’m okay with it taking a while so if SC would make a nice smooth bodice then that is good with me
If that works for you, then I think it’ll be perfect 
: the SC allows for precise and seamless adjustments

if you don’t want holes, maybe look into linked dc? it works up faster than sc but doesn’t leave large gaps like regular dc.
