I crocheted since I taught myself from books decades ago but for some reason was intimidated by knitting. I saw so many nice knitting patterns that I liked that I finally just kept at it and managed to learn to knit. Iām no expert at it but can do it. It just takes time and patience
Edge is single crocheted but the potholder itself is knitted

Not really. Just crocheted an edge for a knitted project. To me, sometimes a knitted edge looks a bit rough. To me a single crochet edging looks smoother. At least for this project
