This might just be me but like has anyone else once was in the middle of a project, and you took a break from it for like a week and when you come back to start your stitch marker is missing and you just lose all motivation you had to finish the project. And then a few days later it turns back up and your motivation is suddenly back?
Sounds like an emotional support stitch marker!![]()
lol I’m using my needle right now cuz I don’t wanna waste my motivation
Wow. No I havent. But I wish I have motivation ![]()
ooof lollll
Hundred percent. If I have it in me, I’ll cut a rather long piece of yarn from my stash or take a scrap and use that a stitch marker. I won’t remove it from the work (it looks like a running stitch) and then I can see how much I’ve done. My emotions stitch markers are load-bearing to the projects though lol.
Definitely not just you! When mine goes missing I grab a bobby pin or a safety pin as a backup, or a short piece of contrasting yarn looped through the stitch and knotted so it can’t slip out. Honestly it happens to me less since I started keeping a few spare markers clipped to the project bag itself, so they travel with the WIP instead of wandering off on the couch.
Not personally. I’m a bit addicted to crocheting. And I tend to do one project at a time and then move onto the next.
For me, I honestly cant imagine choosing to put my crocheting down for a week and not touch it. One day away from crocheting would feel like an eternity to me.![]()
WELL, that said, I AM on a week off right now. But not by choice. I just ran out of yarn and have to wait 4 more days will the new yarn arrives.
But of course we’re all made differently inside. And that’s as it should be.
No I don’t usually use stitch markers honestly
