Just wondering, but how many of you DO NOT use stitch markers? I started using them when I first started crocheting (but got tired of both losing them and having to stop crocheting to take them out and put them back in again). So now I count my stitches :) (I totally don’t keep losing track of what stitch I’m on lolll)
I must have them and i have to count
I only usually use them at the end of a round now. I’ve gotten better at seeing my stitches so I recount when I lose track sometimes I use them for tricky things as well like marking front or back loops to work back into later. I usually use the spiral stitch markers or a length of yarn in a very different color woven back and forth. The clip ones just annoy me to open and close all the time otherwise they fall out.
I don’t usually have problems with counting stitches. If I ever need to keep track of certain stitches, I just pull a long piece of yarn through the stitch.
its been pretty rare of me not using them. I try to as much as I can, but sometimes I lose them. also, I always get distracted and forget how much I’ve done.
I NEED to have them!! They’ve always been a life changer. I try not to lose mine by clipping them to the end of my plastic (mini) garbage can.
I don’t use stitch markers because I don’t have any… I lose my place pretty often but oh wellll!
I almost always use them. I’d rather be mildly annoyed than massively lost.
I typically just use the tail from the MR and pull it through the last st of the round. It can’t pull through and fall out, and it can’t get lost
I have never used them and always lose count of my stitches
Yes! I must use them or I’ll drive myself crazy counting and counting again!
I suck at counting so I NEED stitchmarkers lol
i actually don’t use stitch markers at all, but i use yarn as my stitch marker! it’s pretty easy and hard to lose.
I use them on long rounds of sc like if I have multiple rounds of sc just so I don’t get into a lull and just do sc’s indefinitely Or if I’m deisigning a pattern because I need to do good math and less counting helps my brain. Overall I can go without a stitch marker for small projects but for bigger ones I do use a stitch marker.
I don’t ether I only use them to keep my stitches from ripping out when I’m not crocheting. I like to make them tho
