I am making a bag and for the strap i want to make it with a strap that won’t stretch with the extra weight it will carry so what do you recommend?

You can try the thermal stitch! I just recently learned about it about 2.5 weeks ago working on an amigurumi project!
Its a stitch that makes things pretty sturdy!

Try making the last round only with slip stotches! It helped me

Tunisian crochet simple stitch! believe me it’s not hard, you can just use a normal hook
