Many people think that when you become a believer and give your life to Christ you will become immune to troubles. But that is far from the truth. We are not guaranteed an easy life as Christians. We will be attacked by the devil sometimes more than if we were not Christians. This is because he is trying to drag us down, he knows he has already lost and he wants to bring as many people down with him as possible. Don’t let the devil take control, rely on God and focus on his goodness. Read the scriptures for reassurance and pray! The Lord will protect you. We all go through seasons of hard times but know it is a test of your faith and if you push through and keep your eyes on the Father you will be rewarded with glory. Keep going and trust the Lord, He knows you, He loves you, and He wants to help you!
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12
