So I was wondering if any of you have ADHD or something like that, what is hardest for you to focus on? Mine are math and cleaning. And also what helps you focus? The main thing that helps me focus is music. What about you?
That’s interesting, music makes it hard for me to focus, depending on the subject I probably have ADHD, not a hundred percent sure tho. When I’m cleaning or crocheting, I looove listening to podcasts, like Pardon my Stash (knitting, fiber arts) The Hammerbarn Project (adults, Bluey) and Window to the Magic (Disneyland, surround sound). All great, highly recommend
Cool! I’ve never used podcasts for focus but maybe I should try Because I’ve used audiobooks before and That works
I love audiobooks, I do those when I crochet a lot.
Autistic/ADHD here (super neurospicy lol)
I tend to use various forms of white noise when I need to concentrate on paperwork/maths/etc. Rain sounds help too.
I use music when cooking/cleaning, and I watch YouTube/Netflix while doing pretty much everything else.
I’ve also been medicated (Adderall) since I was 24 (I’m 51 now) and that has helped a lot.
White noise. Hmmmmm I should try that!
myNoise is my favorite white noise app - great sounds and it’s super customizable.
Great I’ll try it
