Suggestions for designing patterns

Hi everyone.

My name is Shazzy. I am a relatively new crocheter. I started learning crochet in November and I am currently working on a granny square blanket.

I had an ambitious idea to crochet a top for myself to wear to a rave in the summer this year, but I would like to find an app where I can design/visualize the pattern before I get started. Do you have any suggestions?

Oh and any and all tips for new crocheters are welcome as well (please and thank you!)

I don’t know of any apps that will help you design it but you can look for a similar pattern to what you want to create and modify it. So like if you are making a bralette you can find a base pattern on YouTube or here and then add your design elements. You can also try combing existing patterns
